BoldTrail Merge Tag Cheat Sheet

Updated: 4 days ago

Looking to add merge tags inside your emails within BoldTrail? This allows us to bring in your contacts information to make the email more personal.

Many agents use ChatGPT to create e-mails or texts and it will show what looks like a merge tag but most of the time it isn't actually the correct merge tag, it is just an example. Here are some resources & the top tags you may use when writing your e-mails and texts!

Inside Real Estate has a full cheat sheet for

  • Leads

  • Agents

  • Lenders

  • Office

  • Team

  • Listing

As well as quick videos on using these inside the Basic editor and the advanced editor! View their full Support article here>

Most common Merge tags will be for your contacts:

Lead Information

Please Note: Lead information pulls directly from the contact profile.

  • {first_name}

  • {first_lastname}

  • {full_name}

  • {primary_call}

  • {email}

  • {site_url} - Agent's subdomain/website

  • {site_url_as_link} - Will display a link to the lead's profile in BoldTrail

  • {lead_location} - Contact's preferred location. Set by contact's listing views, or set by alerts

  • {lead_address}

  • {unsubscribe_url} - Use this merge tag to add an 'unsubscribe' button to your emails for your contacts.

  • {last_property_view}

Most common Merge tags I use for e-mails:

Make two columns - agent photo small on one side and text block for info on the other

{agent_full_name}

{office_name}

{agent_cell_phone}

{agent_email}

{agent_site_url}

If you have your Signature set up in your profile, you can pull that in

{agent_signature}

For footer - smaller text

© {year} {office_name}

{office_address} {office_city}, {office_state} {office_zip} | {office_phone}
